This page is partly an exercise in learning how to use cascading style sheets, but mostly vanity. A lot of my best years were before everything started getting logged to the world wide web, so I'm recording them here. The source is engravings on traveling trophies, medals, and the occasional sword in the attic. The title is an allusion to a poem by George Starbuck that I don't expect anyone to recognize.
